New in my Ebay Store!

I'm adding to my Ebay Store. These are cards shaped as boots!  Added some bling w/glitter paper in pink.  I also added a note spot on the inside to 'jazz' them up.  Check them out at http://stores.ebay.com/elegantgrunge?_rdc=1.  Pictures of the inside are shown there.  Thanks for checking them out!

Memory/Photo Albums

I've watched a designer on YouTube named Kathy Orta.  She makes these amazing matchbook albums. I've done some tweeking for my own version!  I came across some football paper I had bought a few years ago.  I made some scrapbook pages for my son, then left the paper sit.  I'm trying to get his pictures together for his graduation next May...and this is what I came up with.  This type of album can be personalized to not only football, but baseball, soccer, cheerleading, band...anything!

This album has 7 pocket pages.  Each one then contains a 'tag' with a tab to mount photos one, or to write on.  If you wanted, you could put 28- 4 x 6 pictures in this album!  It is so amazing!  As I said, it can be personalized w/names, jersey numbers, year...the possibilities are endless!  The first picture is the album closed, with the band on.  It is a bit loose, but it needs to be when adding to the inside.

The next picture is the album open laying flat.  Cool, right?

Then a side view showing all the pockets, with one 'tag' pulled out a bit.  There are so many memories that can be stored in this!  The great thing about it, is it measures only 6 1/4" x 8"!  Where can you find an album to hold so much in that size!

There are so many memories that can be brought together in this type of album.  Let me know if your interested....I can come up with a great plan for your album!

Blessings,

Kathy

Card Sets

There are also card sets available...

Let the Livestock begin!

So here I am, between jobs, trying to figure out how to make some extra income.  My brother-in -law was all over that!  He knew I had been making cards for years & selling them here & there.  Well, a few years ago he had received a Cricut Expression for Christmas from his mom (but my idea!!)  Jim developed a line of  'Cattle Cards', using his talents to design and hand make livestock themed cards & giftbags.   So sorry, I get a bit 'wordy'!!

Needless to say, when he found out I was seaching for new employment, he pushed to me start making livestock themed cards as well.  With his guidance & full support, this is what I have been coming up with.

I am working on more designs and cards.  I will be adding items on a regular basis. I don't limit myself to only cards.  There are some great memory albums too!  If there is anything that you may be interested in, just email me.  I'm working on some sports based albums too!   I'm also in the process of opening an Ebay store.    More to come on that!

Blessings,
Kathy

Christmas in April?

So it's April and I wanted to make a Christmas card!  I so enjoy sending and receiving cards during the Christmas season!  There are so many different themes to use!!!  I play with Christmas designs all through the year!  Don't you just love the snowman babies!  I created this using my Cricut Imagine.  High gloss finished the decal of the 'babies'.  So adorable.  I'm going to using this much more!!
I'm having so much fun going thru all the pictures!!  I forget what I have created.  I really like fitting my work to a person's personality.  This is what I came up with for my son Dane's girlfriend, Natalie, for her 17th birthday....what 17 year old young lady doesn't love zebra print & high heals!!  Her favorite color...green!
What do you make for a dear friend that was turning 50?  Why Minnie Mouse of course.  She's a Disney fan, and again, I am very non-traditional!!  Enjoy!
This is a card I created for some friends of our as their wedding card.  As you can tell, I am very non-traditional!  I inked the paper & black stamped (and a bit of purple) the designs.  This one of my absolute favorites!  And as a hugh compliment, the bride framed it!  LOVE IT!!

Elegant Grunge

This is the card that created my blog name.  It's my youngest daughter's birthday card.  She turned 14, so there needed to be an 'elegance' as she is a great young lady.  I love the grunge look, and so...this is how the blog name Elegant Grunge came about.
